Thrilled to be the first to christen this website... and thanks to all who have given such positive feedback so far!
My most memorable Thinking Days have to the be the one as a Guide when we stood near Cabot Tower in St John's, Newfoundland and watched the sunrise  .... and then the one from Patteson Lodge on our New Zealand  Pack Holiday. We got the Brownies up very early (well they don't sleep in much the first morning anyway, do they?!), got dressed and went for a walk along the railway line, again to see the sunrise from an appropriate vista. If I recall it was a rainy morning, in fact, and no sun to be seen anywhere, but we convinced the girls that yes the sun was there really and returned home to a full English breakfast!
