 my uniform! - 2007/02/26 18:07 I wore the same uniform as 'Dorothy', becoming a Brownie in 1959. I was so pleased the day I got my uniform that, even though it wasn't a Brownie night, I put it all on and didn't want to take it off... when it came to bed time, my mum made me get undressed - but I still went to bed wearing my Brownie beret!

 Re:my uniform! - 2007/03/05 23:38 I was a Brownie from 1980-1985 so "Susan" was the same as the uniform I wore. My Guide uniform (1985-1989) was like "Sarah" but they'd just introduced neckers when I started Guides, and we tucked our shirts in..
The Jeff Banks uniform came in a while after I had been a YL, so I wore that aqua blouse and that awful hat!

 Re:my uniform! - 2007/03/18 21:45 I too had that aqua Ranger/YL uniform and that vile hat with the aqua stripe. The Jeff Banks uniform came in when I was 18 so I went straight into that as a Guider. I also had one of those 'lovely' blue camp dresses as a YL for Pack Holiday... thank goodness they were phased out.
